This view of the Colt Building in Hartford, Connecticut - from a bridge over the Connecticut River - was taken in 2022 on a Sunday morning.

The blue of the onion dome and the gold of the ornamentation on top of the dome are sharp and clear. The tinting of the rest of the photo helps bring us back to the mid-1800s when Sam Colt built this arms factory and the surrounding village of Coltsville where many of his employees lived.

Most of the complex is now rental apartment and office space and the rest will one day be a completed national park.
