I decided to conclude my Coast of Summer tour in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, just a few miles from where I started back in June.
For variety, I decided to go on the night of the full moon in late August.
Although it is known today as a summer place for the rich and powerful, Newport, Rhode Island had humble and sometimes controversial beginnings.
