Personal branding is another way of saying putting your best foot forward. It means deciding the story you want to tell about your values and finding ways to consistently tell it over and over again. Your personal brand is the foundation of your public reputation as it is seen by others through various common channels of communication.
As a photographer, I offer some of the tools you need to project your values and reputation across all the media platforms most people interact with: Websites, social media, print.
There are a number of ways we can work together to create branding content custom made for you.
Headshots and Portraits
An entry level product most people need is a basic headshot; like mine at the top of this post. Headshots are usually a shoulders up photograph used on company webpages, in email signatures, and in social media bios.
Portraits can be more creative. A portrait can be shot in studio or on location. Portraits made of you in the workplace, or in a location important to your personality, are called environmental portraits. They show you and something about you. Portraits made in studio are usually much more creative than a headshot and are an attempt by you and your photographer to reveal your personality in full.
Content Creation
Many of us have a constant need for new content for websites, marketing materials, and social media channels. This makes consistent personal branding more important than ever.
I like to work with personal branding clients over a period of at least twelve(12) months. This allows us to create content that keeps up with changes within your profession, your specific needs, and to be mindful of the seasons of the year.
A twelve month partnership delivers you an up to date package of headshots, portraits, and abstract photos that show your unique selling points. The end product is not one photo or two, but a catalogue of art work that can be re-purposed in multiple ways.
