At the beginning of 2024 I promised myself I would open up an online store to sell prints of my photographs.
I kept my word. On the afternoon of December 31, 2024, I completed work on the initial store set up. I never said I was going to do it right away.
After several successful open studio weekends last year I decided to make it even easier to make one of my images part of your home or office. In a world full of pictures, it is hard to stand out as a photographer, but one way to do so is take the practice of photography that ultimate step; printing.
I have to say there is nothing more rewarding to me than to know a photograph I made - and printed - is worthy of being part of your daily life. It means we have made a connection at some level. We looked at the same scene and saw similar beauty in that scene.
The images I’ve made available in the print shop so far are from recent travels around the United States, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands, but I will be adding more from around the world in the weeks ahead and I will find a way to let you know when the inventory expands.
Know this. All the photos in my store were taken by me and printed by me. I’m not trusting the print process to a high volume printer who is not going to pay attention to the detail. The final product is mine from start to finish. I hope that adds value. All prints are packaged with care, signed, and come with a signed certificate of authenticity. At this time, I’m selling prints only so that you can frame them as you wish. In the future, I may offer framed options as well.
Please stop by my virtual store and look around. Tell your friends if you think they’d be interested in some original art work.
Stay in touch. In a couple months, when spring temperatures start to warm again, I’ll get back to a regular schedule of open studio events at my barn.
As always, thank you for your business and Happy New Year.
