After taking almost a year off, I am slowly bringing back to life my companion website This Decisive Moment(TDM).

It is a magazine style site where I post long form photo essay content. I’ve made some changes to the layout and plan to post new material at least once a month on the front page. A deeper look into some of the links at the top of the site will direct you toward work that goes back over the last five years, or so.

In June I posted a long piece on the president of Wesleyan University. The writing associated with the pictures is somewhat political - and I try to avoid that - but I think it is important to remain engaged on the issues because our country is built on the idea that citizens will take an active role. If you disagree with my observations in that particular essay - I understand.

Coming up in August I will have a photo essay from Portugal, and more work from New York City and my studio.

I’m working on other projects as well. My goal for the rest of this year and into next is to keep TDM interesting and growing. A link to TDM is at the top of this page.
