Beginning May 27, I’ll be open Wednesday through Saturday each week from 11a.m.-4p.m. - all summer long.
This regular schedule allows you to meet with me about projects you’d like to work on together. A personal branding campaign, a simple headshot, or a carefully considered portrait.
Feel free to drop in to browse the gallery and talk with me about any project you have in mind. If these hours don’t work for you use this website to send me an email and schedule an appointment.
Let’s discuss the difference between personal branding, headshots and portraits…
Headshot: Kind of straight-forward. My photo in this post is a headshot. Shoulders and head. These are the standard types of photos used on websites, business cards, and social media. Headshots are usually delivered as digital files that are easily popped into websites, social media platforms, or email.
Portrait: Portraits are more intentional and can be made in studio or on location. Location portraits are often called “environmental portraits” because they depict the subject in an environment that is relevant to the story the subject is trying to tell. Portraits reveal more of the subject’s personality. A headshot can be done in an hour or less. A portrait takes some advance planning and as much time as we need to get the results you are looking for. Portraits are often delivered as prints in final form. I offer custom printing and will work with you and a framing expert to produce a final result you will want to keep on display.
Personal Branding: My perfect personal branding campaign stretches over the course of a year with at least four separate photo shoots. As a client the deliverables include multiple headshots, environmental portraits, and additional photos that tell your story or the story of your brand. Visit the “personal branding” page on this website to get a better idea of the type of photographs you can expect to receive as a personal branding client. If you have a need to consistently update your social media marketing campaign with fresh relevant new material, a personal branding package is perfect for you.
I do not license any of the photographs I deliver. In other words, once I deliver the finished product - it’s yours - you own it and you won’t receive an annual bill for continued use.
My studio is located in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Again, I invite you to stop by so you can see my work on display and talk over any project you have in mind. My goal is to take all the time necessary to achieve your goals.
